Can't summon Golems

Hi folks!

I just swapped into and Elementalist poison Fross. I have been following a guide, but for some reason i can't summon any of my golems.

Could someone with more experience than me in the game have a look at the build and see if i messed up something?

To elaborate on the above...

The Dark Monarch is a unique item which allows you to summon double the usual number of (insert random minion type), but disallows summoning any other minions whatsoever.

It's likely the guide you are following wants you to buy such a helmet which has rolled the Golems-related affix so that you can summon additional golems, but has not clearly conveyed that this is not a property all The Dark Monarchs possess and that you have to be careful when choosing one to buy (and when actually trading!) to ensure you get an appropriate helmet for your build.

If you ever use a Divine Orb on a The Dark Monarch, it will re-roll the minion-specific affix. This can cause it to change from buffing golems to, say, buffing Raging Spirits. Or - just due to the nature of RNG - it might just so happen to roll the exact same modifier again.
