Path of Exile 1 Gameplay Help and Discussion - Crown of the Tyrant on Mercenary + Animate Guardian - Forum

Hello, If I equip both my Mercenary and my Animate Guardian with a Crown of the Tyrant (each with a blue socket), will the effects stack — i.e., -20% resistances and double the added lightning damage? https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Crown_of_the_Tyrant Additional question: are there better/recommended options for the helmet in such a situation ?
