Kitava's Thirst and multiple skill gems with transfigured variants

Hello,
According to wiki: https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Kitava%27s_Thirst If the same skill gem is socketed in Kitava, only one will be triggered. But what if I socket the regular version of the skill gem + one (or several) different transfigured versions of the same skill ? Trigger cooldowns are shared between multiple skills of the same type, including any transfigurations.

I have an additional question:
Does it work if I'm using, let's say regular Arc as my main spell, and another regular Arc in Kitava ? Will both of them trigger 50% of the time (supposing the mana threshold is reached) ? Is it worth it ? |
