abnormal disconnection ?

This is very weird , I can't play with some of my characters . I'm getting this message 'abnormal disconnection , failed to join any instances ' . Is it just me or does anyone have the same problem ?

I am having this same issue. 2 of my charaacters can enter instances, but the 1 that I was playing cannot all of a sudden. I have restarted my PC and changed servers to no avail.

Edit: now all 3 of my older characters are unable to enter any instances. I was able to create a new character and get to Lioneye's though.

I'm back in now on my main character.

so creating new character fixed the problem for you ?

I think maybe just waiting to log in a bit fixed it. I did lose a map instance for what it's worth in the process.

This is still going on intermittently with multiple characters.

Unable to even start playing with my current Mercenaries Character, but I can play my Standard Characters with no issues.

EDIT: I don't know if this necessarily changed anything or not, but after I started a new character and went to all of the hideout-like areas ( Kingsmarch, the Mines, etc ) I went to try my main again and it worked. Maybe I just had to REALLY show the game I wanted to play today.

It's happening to me, but I think it's only happening when I have to get into a town during the campaign. Getting into maps/areas is fine.

But yeah I have to just spam the portal or door over and over until it lets me in

I started a new character yesterday and Im trying to complete the first lab in Act 3.
I get disconnected from the Lab often so cant complete this at the moment.
The interesting thing is in the chat window I get 2 messages:
Unable to connect to the PVP server and
Unable to connect to the Achievements server.
Wonder if something is happening in these 2 servers that is causing the disconnects??
