Scold's Bridle doesnt inflict critical strikes through secondary (self) damage

I'm using reflected brittle through fulcrum and 7 reckless defence jewels, with 6% brittle I'm supposed to get ~96% critical strike chance from any hit even with 0 base crit. So I've perfomed a test with Ambu's Charge unique body armour (get max endurance charges when you get hit by critical strike). And Scold's Bridle doesnt seem to crit me. PoeWiki claims that secondary damage can crit if given a base crit chance. Please tell me whats going on, scold's bridle bugged? Wiki is wrong? Or mb I'm doing something wrong?

So I did some more testing, eye of innocence doesnt work, but gluttony and storm secret works, so I guess I have options but I still dont understand the whole self-damage crit rules thing. I dont see it explained anywhere.
