Belfry boss stuck

So when boss was changing phase I was standing next to door exit. After he changed phase I Attacked the boss but it was stuck a do no animation or phase progress.

Similar thing happening to me right now. I am not sure what triggered it though, I don't think I was standing close to the door like mentioned.

The boss is still attacking and everything like normal but is not taking any damage and hovering mouse on the boss doesn't show his HP bar or anything. This happened also on the first phase before he puts heart down for the first time but then I could still hover boss properly, he just wasn't taking damage and would not put heart down to move on to next phase until I portaled out and back in. This second time after the heart phase portaling doesn't fix it either so I am just stuck in the arena and the map is bricked I guess.

Also there is a Ritual altar in the boss arena, not sure if that could be related.
