Sudden new drastic CPU performance issues

Yesterday everything was fine, suddenly when I started the game today the CPU usage of the game increased by like 5-10x.

In hideout, performance graphs used to show 1-2ms CPU, 2-3ms GPU, and now it's 7-10ms CPU.

In maps I barely ever dipped below 80fps, now there are moments when I drop below 15fps and the CPU graph shows 40-70ms.

Funny thing is the CPU does not seem to do much work - it's not throttling, 60C max, windows taskmgr shows 30-50% usage.

My specs:
CPU: Ryzen 7700X
GPU: RTX 4070 Ti (driver 566.36 Dec 5/2024 - not a good idea to update because of other nvidia issues)
RAM: 6000MT CL32
SSD: Gen3 NVME

Settings:
- DX12
- no triple buffering
- 3440x1440 windowed
- no vsync + 95fps limit
- some settings lowered for GPU noise reduction

Hardware and game config has not changed since I got this pc 2+ years ago.

Everything is back to normal today. PoE is gonna give me a heart attack one day.
