Jack the Axe Has No Voice

I've been playing with Jack the axe for about fifteen levels now, and I've yet to hear him. My Oni-Garishi is quite verbose, and sounds great, but Jack just seems all shy. Is he broken?

I love content like talking weapons, thanks for adding them.

Addendum: I also can't apply the invisible buff effect to Jack's aura effect. I purchased one to hide it as it covers up my Lord of Ogham supporter pack, but I can't apply it to Jack's aura.
