gambling ingame destroys mood to play

Gambled div card.. 1 click. poof.. all currency gone. No mood to play anymore. I wish ggg would step it up and allow us to disable such gambling in harvest.

Casinos exist: should they all be banned because you lost and got angry? Number 1 rule of casinos and casino-like mechanics: don't use anything you aren't okay losing. It's a little something called "self control". And if you REALLY want to go down that rabbit hole.....EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS GAME IS GAMBLING. In the same way you chose to interact with that particular harvest craft, you ALSO choose to interact with all other game systems that are quite literally the same casino. Playing Maps and Killing Monsters? Gambling for drops Crafting an item in any way, shape, and form? Gambling against probabilities The only part of this game that isn't gambling is building your character. But actually GEARING that character is basically....you guessed it.....gambling. So what you are saying is that you consciously gambled away your divination card, knowing the risk of it either disappearing or not...

This is why I don't gamble or do most of any kind of farming strategies that heavily rely on RNG.
You want to farm for currency for your build? Stick to essences. Trust me, I spent several days in yellow maps to get this. It works. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish. |

So is there actually a suggestion here, or just whining? Because "don't let me make bad, impulsive choices" isn't really a thing GGG could do, even if for some reason they wanted to do it.

As someone easily addicted to things….
Poe is ALL about gambling. I avoid every mechanic that is agressive about it. Just take it slow…. Also, if you ever gonna use a currency on your gear, always try first on craft of exile site... |

The analogy is much more like: you are in the casino and have a choice of which game to play, you want the casino to ban you (and everyone) from playing poker. Every aspect of this game is gambling. You chose one specific, apparently too costly, gamble and lost. That isn't the game's fault, it is yours. And if this is a gambling addiction situation, the game isn't obligated to help you in any way: there are real life support groups and places you can go to get help. In much the same way that a Casino will remain open and active in all forms whether YOU have an addiction or not, whether you CHOOSE to go in or not. Losing a gamble to RNG hurts, but that's the game. Either quit the ENTIRE RNG game if you can't handle it or deal with it.
