BUG after Legendary item drop
After killing the champion, I got a legendary amulet, after which "I didn't even have time to pick it up" the game froze, a couple of seconds later I was thrown to the main login screen. I logged into the game, where I discovered that my character was in the city. And how should I understand this? Will this always happen when legendary items drop, will we be thrown out of games? I ask the Administration to sort out these errors, and if possible, return the dropped items! Screenshots of the dropped item are attached!

Thanks for the fix. But as a newbie in this game, I am very unhappy with the fact that such BUGS occur. And now, you don't know what to expect in the future...

Server disconnections are a thing with this game, as are unfortunately server crashes. Both have been more common for some, of late.
In the case of a server crash, the instance that you were in will be gone (along with any items on the ground) and your recent changes to inventory may have been rolled back. As a rule, no recovery of items or reversal of character death will occur. In the more common occurrences of a disconnect or a client-side crash, your instance may still exist and you may be able to return. Unlike POE2, in POE1 you always appear in town after logging in or selecting to play a character. Also different from POE2 is that your items remain in the instance if your character dies. You could attempt to return to your instance where the item dropped as long as it has not timed out (usually less than 8 minutes). If the instance didn't itself crash, the items should still be there on the ground for that short interval of time. In the case of a map, your remaining map portals would usually still exist at map devices to re-enter the map, as long as the map instance itself did not crash. The game may report both cases as an 'unexpected disconnection,' even if the cause was the server/instance crashing. It is more obvious what happened if your map portals have visibly disappeared, but it's also worth checking if your campaign area instance is still intact when this happens (you may well have done so). |
