Link mastery (Movement speed sharing) does not apply with merecenaries?

So, I had hoped that I would be able to utilise the Link Mastery "Your Movement Speed is equal to the highest Movement Speed among Linked Players" , tried throwing Queen of the Forest on my merc, they get the +70% movement speed but that movement speed is not shared with me when linked.

So I'm now wondering what link masteries actually work with the Mercenaries?
