Passives tree can make game fps crawl in certain situations
I have a pretty busy hideout, in which i get like 60-70 fps, but if there is a lot of effects on the screen, and when i then open the passive tree, the game fps drop down to like 5 fps.
in the previous league the game would then start glitching visually. But in this league its just the fps drops, but not sure if this also is connected to some gpu device crashes i had recently. In the video i show the difference in performance if i open the passive tree in a busy area or in a less busy area of my hideout. Just want to provide this info, bc. maybe it helps with general optimization or something is going wrong here engine-wise. www.youtube.com/watch?v=g26LmgnD4O8 Currently installed nvidia driver: 576.52 Gigabyte RTX 4070 Ti Super Last edited by Reneator#6936 on Jun 20, 2025, 4:59:38 AM Last bumped on Jun 24, 2025, 4:47:03 AM

Update: tested with vulkan renderer and dx12
in vulkan the fps drop to 2 fps, my gpu is only at like 10% and my gpu at around 60%. From what i see this might be a problem with the engine which occurs after a certain number of effects/objects on screen is reached. This also happens when other people join my hideout, the fps drops down to like 5 fps. Here my hideout to make it easier to reproduce for ggg staff: https://pastebin.com/nx9L8eYT With this hideout you can just stand on the waypoint and either invite a new player in or opening the skill tree and zooming out. When standing on the waypoint i have around 80 FPS when the limit is not reached yet Additionally reaching that limit will make the graphics/objects glitch wildly Last edited by Reneator#6936 on Jun 24, 2025, 5:00:44 AM
