Mirror Arrow "Travel" Tag

Playing a Mirror Arrow build and just went into a Valdo Puzzle Box map and my Mirror Arrow was disabled. Trying to figure out why I found that every puzzle box map I have has "Players' Travel Skills are Disabled". I wouldn't think this would be the problem but apparently Mirror Arrow, which doesn't cause any travel and only summons a clone as you minion, has the Travel Tag.
This is the first league I've really engaged with T17s so if this mod is something on every Valdo Map, I'm not sure it if is, that completely bricks any ability to do these. Any chance to get this tag removed as their isn't any movement involved with skill? I understand Blink Arrow being disabled, but this tag seems like it may be a remnant from before a rework or something for Mirror Arrow. Last bumped on Nov 6, 2025, 3:54:15 PM

I don't get it - wiki says Movement and Travel tags were added to it (without mentioning it in patch notes ??) with 3.9 (Metamorph, 2019)...
but why ?? The only thing that makes sense is how it 'mirrors' Blink Arrow in functionality, but what (else) does it change in practice ?? (At least it's not disabled in Ruthless...) Last edited by BlueTemplar85#0647 on Nov 6, 2025, 7:50:21 AM

" It enables the skill gem to benefit from movement skill cooldown reduction rate as seen on notables like "Fleetfoot" or the implicit from boots. Removing the tag means to nerf the skill for regular play. It's normal that not every build can run every T17 so OP just needs to learn their build better The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

Ah, so it's for specific builds ?
(Should have though of it, as I'm playing Quickstep and Flicker Strike with Fleetfoot right now !) Not sure if it makes sense considering how the skill works, but fine, I see the value. ---- Ah, but then there's a fix for that specific combination ! Remove the 'Travel' tag, while keeping the 'Movement' tag ! Or are there other builds that this would screw up ? |
