Merceneries not working as intended in group play

Currently in group play Merceneries aren't working as advertised.

In the video the members of the party could choose to opt in and fight the Mercenery with the instance leader, getting a reward upon completion.

Currently, in our group of four, only the instance leader is able to interact with the mercenery - viewing the items, choosing whether to take an item, exile or not and so on.
When fighting the mercenery only the instance leader fights the mercenery, the other group members are unable to help in any way - auras stop affecting the group member even.

Been having the same problem. We have no idea how to fight or skip as a party. Only the leader is able to chose anything and the rest of the party is always on opt out.

When my friend fights a mercenary, I cannot join him.

When the fight beings, my auras stop affecting my friend.

Also, my auras DO buff the enemy mercenary he is fighting.

Also, the enemy mercenaries auras and sigil of power buff me.

What part is not fixed? They added a button where the non-instance owners click "Opt-In" and if the instance owner selects a reward, the joining players also get rewards. If they exile or hire, I believe they get nothing.
