Mashing Events and PL is the worst of both worlds. Make Private Leagues free for 30 days instead

Are these to be all Standard leagues? Are the first 5x Standard, the Gauntlet 5x HC? That doesn't serve the SSF players who want to play one of these. If you add HC and SSF to all, that's 60 variants...

Why try to satisfy all players with 15 static options, when you have a modular system?


By doing as suggested, you directly advertise the PL system to new PoE players and a wider audience.

All player types are satisfied, as they can seek out a community with mods they like, or simply roll their own.

Leagues will be active organically, instead of a 1/15th or 1/60th fragmentation.


Cap duration to 30 days and players to 20,000.


If we're getting the mashup because the PL structure isn't ready, well, we've got what we've got.

None of them are going to be Standard it would seem, as the announcement says they're all Settlers.

Not being able to add our own modifiers, sounds like the templates are going to be where the modifiers are ?

(But then why removing Standard as an option ?)

So looks like there will be not 15x16 = 240 variants, but 'only' 15x8 = 120 variants ? (You forgot Ruthless.)

Also, those are just options, anyone can make a league, we might see millions of different leagues (how is the interface going to handle this ??)

If you guys didnt play settlers gauntlet you should give it a try. just find a bigger private league. If you cant hack it in hc im sure someone will do it in sc. You will enjoy it i promise. You wont be running the campaign half naked on gear.

Some of them sounds fun but I agree. Too many will split up the community and trade might die out very fast. I hope the community can manage to pick and gather around 1-2 of these so that at least we get some meaningful period of trade. If not it will be full SSF mode until june.
