Question about Early Access pack

If my friend bought the Early Access Pack do he receive a key or it's automatically put on his account?
I don't have a credit card or a paypal account so i'm asking a friend to trade with me a DOTA 2 Key for PoE Betakey. |

i think it gives you a key.. in the description it says it gives a key, but dont take my word for it im usually wrong :D

It gives a key. The only thing that automatically activates accounts is the invite timer.
