Early access support pack on Xbox store

Me and my brother was playing the game with my key until the recent change which limits the key to per account. My brother wants to buy the supporter pack from the Xbox store but I want to confirm something. Does buying the supporter pack give you access to the game instantly? I had bought the supporter back before EA launch so I don't know how much time it takes to get the access to the game. If anyone bought the pack recently let me know. The reason I'm asking is I don't want to email support and wait for 3-4 months for a response.
