For any "non Zizaran" streamer

...this is a great opportunity to promote themselves and collaborate with GGG hosting a Phrecia or other event for the PoE community (private league or not).

The fact we're even discussing Last Epoch as the biggest competition in 2025 for GGG speaks volumes. PoE2 already lost 40% of the retention within less than two weeks according to steam with a drop from 245k to 153k.

Ah yes, it’s that time again, “PoE killer” threads making their rounds.

“We’re discussing Last Epoch as the biggest competition”? Who’s we, exactly? These takes only ever show up in bait posts like this.

LE is a solid game and a nice fresh breeze for those looking to mix things up while waiting on the next PoE league or other big content.
But a serious competitor? Let’s not get carried away.
Zizaran is promoting Last Epoch with a boss kill event with cash prices when PoE needs, well anything would be better than nothing for two months speaks volume.

@VoidWhisperer read again, there's nowhere mentioned Last Epoch as the "PoE killer", but Zizaran is catering to it, while ignoring PoE during times like these, well he makes a statement that he doesn't care as much for the current state and future of PoE, including many PoE1 players that are part of his viewership that WON'T be playing Last Epoch or about GGG to collaborate with them.

Anyways, whatever Last Epoch is doing to make noise and build hype enough to attract the PoE market it's working, because again streamers like Zizaran and GGG are allowing or enabling it.

PoE1 is in a better state than ever and much better than PoE2 and I say this based on my retention on both games.

The last gauntlet event was amazing. Not expecting them to go to that amount of effort again, especially now when they are struggling to keep focus on the 2 games. Phrecia has also been amazing, it just shows how good some of these events can be. I have seen some people asking for endless delve on the forum. Maybe that is something they can run. Whatever it is, they need to be focused on launching a proper league for 3.26. It would seem to me that letting Phrecia continue or something like endless delve that they have already created would be a good way to have something without needing development time. You are probably right, that it is a good opportunity if someone wanted to create something in that time, if there is going to be nothing else that will be running. Not sure GGG has a lot of time to be doing the collaborating though, might need to come from the community.

More like Zizaran is one of the few players who genuinely enjoys a variety of ARPGs. He’s also made a career out of his passion, so it’d be kinda dumb not to hop on big patches from other games. Skipping a major update in something like Last Epoch could mean missing out on both content and viewership.

What he’s doing is just smart, diversifying for both fun and profit instead of tying himself down to a single title.

The ultimate POE killer is GGG. It needs no assistance in this regard from Last Epoch or other games.
