Disconnection during Ascendancy

I disconnected during the rewards room right at the end during the Ascendancy.

I managed to select my Ascendancy, Smith of Kitava, but a few seconds later, I was booted to the main menu, and upon returning to the area, the run counted as a loss and it had cancelled my Ascendancy selection, meaning the the entire run was a complete and utter waste of time regardless of the fact that I was successful

This is a pain, a real pain! I am too afraid to do another run in fear that I'll get to the final room again just for it to boot me, so I am requesting in good faith an hope that I can receive some assistance in some way, the best case scenario being that I am granted the Ascendancy I worked hard to farm through without me having to run the whole thing all over again
