Can not update

Hi there,
i cant update poe 1
i dont know how to post picture
but this is " could not overwrite executable with new patched. Please make sure that Pathofexile.exe... If necessary, you may need to reboot your computer"
i already restart my computer, but not working

Please help me!!

It seems like the update is having a hard time overwriting the current Path of Exile executable. You can try the following:

Known Fix

• Go to your Path of Exile installation folder.
• Locate two files: PathOfExile.exe and PathOfExile.tmp
• Rename, move, or delete PathOfExile.exe
• Rename PathOfExile.tmp to PathOfExile.exe
• Relaunch Path Of Exile.

1. Close the game completely

• Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
• Go to the Processes tab.

• Right-click on the Path of Exile shortcut.
• Choose "Run as administrator". This gives the launcher permission to overwrite the executable.

4. Check antivirus
Your antivirus or Windows Defender might be blocking or locking the file. Temporarily disable real-time protection and try updating again. If it works, add a Path of Exile folder exception to your antivirus.

5. Check file permissions

• Go to your PoE install folder
• Right-click PathOfExile.exe > Properties > Security tab.
