Very high CPU temps
I built a brand-new computer with a 9800x3d and this is the only game where I'm getting temperatures upwards of 90 degrees. Many others are also having the same issue.

I seen a forum post last night about this issue. Which has me concerned since I just ordered a 9800x3d, 64 gig of ram and an Aorus Elite MB to try and solve my current issue. Seems Im only setting myself up for another issue...

My 9800X3D is 44c with poe running at 1440 with Firefox tabs, discord, and pob with 3 monitors connected.
You've got a cooling issue. Update to a proper stable BIOS, get better cooling with proper airflow, set windows properly to prioritize the GPU over CPU as much as possible, or take it to a PC person who knows what they're doing. Sure the 9800 can handle those temps at it's top end before throttling, but there's no reason it should be above 65c or 70c in poe. |

Nah, There is some other common factor that isnt related to cooling issues. There have been numerous posts about this issue.
Are you overclocked? Boost on? Mess with PBO at all? Theres some kind of common ground between those that are over heating and those that arent. |

EXPO on
PCIe Gen 4 ReBAR on all other OC off undervolt no And yes, my tdie temps are 44c while gaming. 10 fans inside the case with a 7900xtx GPU win11 23h2. Maybe 24h2 or Nvidia or windows settings issues.. but as I said, with proper PC config and cooling no issues. |
