Pc crashing whenever i launch Poe

hey, so since a few days my pc just crashes after i start the poe launcher and wait a few seconds.

does it launch if you use the "--nosound" switch?

If using --nosound or -swa/--softwareaudio don't work, then post your PC stat.. OS version, RAM, CPU, Video Card, Sound Card, etc. We can look more detailed at the stats and see if we can find something that would cause a problem.
Also, when it crashes, does it produce any error messages or dialog boxes? | |

about which nosound switch are you exactly talking? i dont know any
when it crashes my computer just completly shuts down, as if i would remove the cacble for electricity i have windows 7 ultime 64 bit 8gb ram intecore duo 8Ghz Ati Hd4870 p45d3 Platinum Motherboard (onboard sound card) | |

right-click your path of exile shortcut and go to properties. change the target to add --nosound at the end. make sure you put a space between the end of the client.exe and the --nosound. see if our works.

Radeon HD card? its a known issue,check my thread
