Please GGG do something about minions !!!!

First of all, i would like to say that this game is awesome.
Still, it has some problems that need fixes and minions are one of them.
I started a necro some days ago, and i must say i never saw such a terrible minions (zombies in particular) control...
U loose them when u change area, u loose them because they are running away, u loose them if u run too fast, u loose them because they don't take the correct path to follow you (thinking about prison) etc...
They often don't attack ennemies, when u spawn them, they often run in the opposite direction ure running at etc.. etc..
I often have to go back to retrieve corpses just after i have spawn zombies cause they run away !!!!!
Does they have "chances to flee" curse all the time ???
I can't follow party partners because if i do i now i'll meet some fancy boss naked...
Please could u define a radius around the character that zombies couldn't leave and can agro only in it ???

Please please please GGG, do something for necros.

The pathing issues aside, I've already had some situations where the last thing I needed were additional mobs being pulled into the fight. You have 3 guesses what my zombies did just then. :D

That sounds like a great idea.

Being able to set modes in the UI seems too RTS-ish, or like MMO pets. Supporting your zombies with Defense and your skeletons with Attack seems like it would fit PoE much better.
