A Few Support Gem Suggestions: Cast on Hit and Autocast

A few random ideas I've had for support gems that could introduce new an interesting ways to use certain skills.

Cast on Hit
Attributes: Intelligence
Keywords: Attack, Spell, Support
Mana Cost Multiplier: 150%
Per 1% Quality: .5% chance to cast on hit
Effects: Supports both an attack and a spell, combining them so that the spell has a (30-49%) chance to cast whenever the supported attack hits. The spell could only trigger once per attack, so even if an attack hits multiple targets the spell would only cast once.
50% less Spell Damage
Uses and interesting interactions: A good way for non-spellcasters to apply effects like curses, or even to reapply self-buffs or summon skeletons without interrupting your attacking or spending additional mana. One interesting interaction: any summon supported by this gem would have his own attacks supported by it in turn. This means skeletons would have a chance to summon more skeletons whenever they hit an enemy.

Autocast
Attributes: Intelligence
Keywords: Spell, Support
Mana Cost Multiplier: 300% (Mana is Reserved)
Per 1% Quality: 1% faster casting speed
Effects: Turns supported spells into an aura-like toggleable effect that reserves mana and automatically casts the supported skill as frequently as your casting speed will allow. You are always the center of the effect. So, for example, if you have Autocast+Firestorm, the fireballs will always fall directly around you. If the supported spell is a curse, it will apply the curse to enemies around you
50% less casting speed
Spells it won't work with: most projectile spells, because they have to be aimed to function properly (a notable exception is "spark") and any other spells that need targeting to function, such as Lightning Warp and Ice Wall.
Uses and interesting interactions: Turns spells like Shock Nova, Firestorm and Cold Snap into damage-auras of a sort. Can be used to automatically summon skeletons or a totem at your location at regular intervals, or to frequently re-apply an aura to nearby enemies. You could also use it to automatically refresh buffs like Molten Armor or Enduring Cry. Pair it with a "Portal" gem to never have to worry about losing your progress again.
