'Toons' is quite a common term actually, especially in World of Warcraft.

Fairly sure we were referring them casually as 'toons' back on EQ1 circa 2001 or so...
If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

" A toon is a term used in mmo's, it's basically another word for character, or alt. So instead of saying "I'm swapping to my other character" some would say "I'm switching to my other toon". Look up the first three definitions of "toon" in the UrbanDictionary. It quickly becomes clear what it means and why you should never use the term.
