Did this exact craft 3 times:

Can't seem to find any errors in the craft. I guess u got the short stick 3 times in a row :/

" I don't think CoE properly adjusts weights for its calculations based on the "Modifier Tier Rating" corpses. The in-game expanded explanation for them says their roll chance is distributed among higher tier modifiers of the same type, and you can somewhat see that in CoE in the gray number in ()s in the weight column--however, the weight shown in the "Totals" box at the top of the prefixes and suffixes columns doesn't account for that, which can be seen by removing the modifier tier rating corpses from your craft. Prefix weight: 41k Suffix weight: 21k Lets assume that +1 to all phys spell gems rolls on the item first (a 1/3 chance), due to its hefty weight. Removing that from the pool, along with the other +1 to all chaos/elemental spell gems rolls, leaves you with: Prefix weight: 17k Suffix weight: 21k Which is no longer heavily weighted towards prefixes, and the two top weighted suffixes are 5000 and 2250, so even the 4th affix has 60/40 odds for a prefix at best. Even looking at it like this, it does still seem odd to get 3 suffixes three times in a row. It just doesn't seem like such an aggregious outlier as you originally thought. | |
