Necromantic Aegis + Maligaro's Lens interaction not working

The "Nearby Allies Recover 1% of Your Maximum Life When You Die" portion of Maligaro's Lens does not work when paired with Necromantic Aegis. I have tested it with both zombies and summon raging spirits.

Are you using minion instability? Have not tested personally, but found a similar video with this issue and they had Instability detonating the spectre and no HP recovery as a result.
