Dropped items no longer showing unless I press alt.Bug Report no.1,926,318,928

In the last 2 days my dropped items no longer showing unless I press alt. Nor do marked items such as npcs, chests, portals. They do show when I press alt. Not all things just whatever my filter is set to show. Bug Report no.1,926,318,928.
I was not able to get F8 to take a screen shot.

There is an option called "Always Highlight", under UI -> Gameplay.

This option can be toggled via hotkey. The default hotkey is Z. Toggling it off is useful in some circumstances, such as being hiding Necropolis corpses in the middle of a fight, or clicking something that would otherwise be hidden behind a Vaal portal's mod window.

YES!!! that fixed it!! didn't have the hotkey set, but found the settings as you said. and now back to normal. Thank you very much!!!

every now and then it is turned off again. The shortcut key is now set to close all user interface. and it does that. so I don't know why Always Highlight is turning off.
