Crashing Every Time I go Into Fortress Map

Specs:
RAM: 32gB 2133MHz
CPU: i7-9700k 4.55GHz
GPU: RTX 2070 Super

Every time I go into the Fortress map, I crash before getting in or soon after getting into the instance. I've tried progressively lowering settings until it was at the lowest, and tried going in at 800x600 resolution. It made no difference.
I've tried 4 Fortress maps. It's weird because the second try, I only crashed a couple times and was on normal settings. I was able to go through the map until the boss. Every other attempt, I lost every portal crashing.

No message no disconnect, nothing. The game just freezes and closes. The setting change had no impact at all. I don't understand why this is happening, I've never had performance issues in PoE before.

I tried clearing my appdata cache and C:\Users\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile folder. No impact.

Update: Fresh install fixed it.
