Bugged interaction between Essence Drain + Trap support

Hey guys. If you support essence drain (any variety including transmog) with trap support, it hits your life as well as mana. Right now I am running a lvl 27 essence drain + trap support and it chunks my life for 400+ each trap thrown. I dont think this is how its supposed to work.

Nevermind I found out why pls delete. Its the chaos mastery "when you use a chaos skill" counts even though you threw a trap
