Shaper beam no way to avoid?

Just did shaper, i see him charge for beam so i would dash away (clearly out of the path) and beam never touches me yet it kills me every time. MS is at 50 so highly doubt its a lag issue. failed shaper due to this visual error. all 6 deaths are from beams and each time i dodged with dash and it would kill me in the new spot nowhere near the beams path. or did some update change making the beam hit more then the visual area(even with me far out of beam in general)

i guess someone saw this as not a bug... This is not a gameplay issue or player issue I've done shaper tons of times and never had this dilemma... but ok.

I don't know what's happening in your game, but I did Shaper just yesterday a few times and didn't have problems with the beam.

Maybe some predictive mode shenanigans?

Did a new run make any difference?

New run diff character was fine but did
Uber elder and did it there aswell it shreds my hp then it visually catches up to show the animation for him doing beam. Latency is fine, frames good, no lag/stutters or anything so idk. just wont farm them
