Elemental Resistance With Shields + Necromantic Aegis

Hi,

will Elemental Resistance with Shields (4% increased elemental resistances while holding a shield) work with Necromantic Aegis? Even if i pass all the shield boni to my minions i'm still holding the shield.

Cannot test it by myself yet, it still takes me another 10 levels to reach both passives.

I hate to necro this, but will the effect be on me or on my minions?

From the wording, it would probably be on me. But it might be associated with the shield directly? Like the +x% to shield defenses passives?

I actually tested it before I deleted my summoner who died in HC to make a new one. This gives YOU the 15% resist. You don't get any stats of your shield but this buff still applies to you since it considers you holding a shield still.

thats awesome to know since I was heavily dependant on my angelic shield to reach max resists.

Quick question then.

If a shield has "+1 to melee skills" do spectres that use melee skills get +1? do they even have skill levels themselves?

Raise Spectre doesn't benefit from that mod since RS is not a melee skill. (If it were +minion skills it would be different.)

I mean the shield spawns with "+1 melee skills socketed in this item".
