Lycia Phasing

During this league I noticed something lycia first phase isnt getting instantly phased.
If she is in animation when you hit the certain hp% she wont stop, instead she will finish her ability before phasing.
But still says her line "playing with fire will get your burnt" and release her gargoyles.
Unsure if its a bug or I am just confused.
If its phasing then she shouldnt be saying her line indicating she is phased or should be canceling her ability.
