Einhard Mission failed, the target was slain

I got a mission failed for a random Einhar spawn during the campaign in act 3 as soon as I entered the zone. I'm playing in necropolis ruthless ssf hc my character name is "NeoFrozt", a witch with ice nova and regular ES gear.

PC spec is Ryzen 5 3600, RTX 2060 SUPER, 16Gb DDR4 RAM, 480Gb SATA SSD. Up to date windows and graphics drivers.

This has never happened to me before, at least not after the og bestiary league where beasts could be killed by the player.
