Unique ring idea that could help with socket pressure.

I'm new to using the forums and not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I had an idea spring to mind on a unique ring idea. Its based off of the hunger loop unique although very different.

The idea behind this was that it could help solve a lot of issues with sockets on gear, whilst still maintaining stats that are needed. I think this could be a pretty good item and help a lot of builds, but I could be wrong and this would be useless.

Uncorrupted gems are Devoured upon feeding the ring up to a maximum of (2 to 4) to become implicit modifiers, sacrificing all quality.

Upon devouring a gem there is a 2% chance per quality sacrificed to gain (1-3) maximum gem level. Upon fail lose those levels instead

Gain (40-50)to maximum life per Devoured red gem

Gain (10-20)% to all elemental resistances per Devoured green gem

Gain (20-30)% increased global critical strike chance per Devoured blue gem

Gain (5-10)% increased global defense per Devoured white gem
