Accuracy for slams and why its not immersive

TLDR:

Why accuracy on slams, when glacial cascade and other aoe spells do not need any.

Detail:

It kinda makes sense to have accuracy for strike/bows/minions and some totem builds, because they usually have to hit something, but why do you think we should have it on AOE abilities? I think the accuracy part is delegated onto player via the ability being basically a skill shot. I absolute hate when I use EQ and it "misses", while visibly it is directly under the character. I don't think it should be default behavior. Yes I know I can use resolute technique, which I often do, but that restricts scaling vectors way too much. One has to care for Mana, Aoe, Accuracy, War cry cd/speed/power already. It just pushes the builds into strange position.
GGG remove ancestral totem buffs and buff base gems instead. It is annoying to have to press:

4 warcries, totem, berserk, banner, bloodrage, focus, curse to cast a slam

result: 1/5th of normal build damage and 1/4th of POB dps for slam build in real scenario.
