Does generic aoe apply to born in the shadows.

Specifically, the nearby blind radius of 3.5

If i had generic aoe, does that increase this distance?

"nearby" can't ever be adjusted by AoE. It is a set ultimate distance based on the skill.

A rare example of an ascendancy's "nearby" which radius is not 6 metres (former 60 units).

since nearby means nothing more than "in some radius" and ambiguity by itself doesn't prevent it from scaling with AoE. If it were worded as "Enemies within a Radius of 3.5 metres are Blinded", it still wouldn't be scalable. While auras for example are scalable without specifying exact radius.
