Ethereal Knives still not working with return proj

Ethereal knives (EK) still doesnt work with returning projectile. Neither the normal or the nova variant, but the one with lingering blades work (i assume its beacuse of the 'duration' tag?)

Is there any hope for this to be fixed before Necropolis, so we can enjoy normal EK or EK nova with returning projectile?

so i decided to leaguestart EK poison again (i do the same in 3.23 and regret) but skill still didnt work with returning proj!? lol, 4 months in and still no fix? cmon guys
