instant crash on entering temple of atzoatl

I put a portal down for a trade, and when returning to the temple, I get a guaranteed kick to login screen.

I believe the portal was possibly placed on top of a spike trap.
That's all I can recall from the temple.
portal in hideout is not consumed when it occurs.
