Wildwood points of interest revealed by exit portal spawn don't give rewards

When the exit portal spawns, it reveals an area around it, which can sometimes reveal a point of interest (either that, or I happened to reveal it simultaneously with the portal spawn). When this happened, the point of interest did not spawn any rewards. In the screenshot, there should have been several Chittering Egg objects to loot, but there were none.
