transfigured gems in first lab

I'm almost certain there is something wrong with the rolling system in the gem font in first lab. I have done 50 - 60 labs give or take. there are 76 blue transfigured gems 76/3 = 25.3 so there is a 1/25 chance each lab to get a specific blue gem in my case RF. which I am over double the average on.. is there something im missing here? are some gems locked behind higher tier labs? am I just super unlucky? or is there an issue with the rolling of the gems

up to 90 labs now

It took a grand total of about 130 lab runs to get my transfigured RF gem to appear once. I think there is definitely something that needs to be done. maybe a 3 to one tranfigured gem recipe or something.
