Party icon stuck to screen in map only

the icon of the player that I had previously traded with got stuck to the screen in this map
if I tried to leave the "party" it would say "party does not exist"
leaving the map would make the party disappear as usually when leaving a party
entering the map again would make the party icon come back
I am not sure how this was caused
