Corrupted essence not dropping anything

In my last Tower map a few minutes ago at the second last floor i corrupted a essence Mob with i lot of essences. It turned into one including an essence of horror. After freeing it and killing the mob nothings droped, nether from the original nor the duplicated one.

Happend to me so many times since leaguestart so I can't count em anymore. Just did a map couple minutes ago, one mob with 7 essences in, Poff gone.
And again in SAME map with just 2 essences tho. But killed it and poff, gone. no drops. |
