Ritual - Client Freezes upon starting Ritual

I was in a party and when we started a ritual in a map, my friend's client froze resulting in him having to close the program. We completed the rest of the ritual in that map no issue.

We did several more maps with Ritual with no issue, but just now we both had the same bug occur where our games froze, and we were both forced to force close the application. We attempted to finish the ritual in the map, but again once we started the ritual, both of our games froze.

I asked my friend if he's had this issue before and he said he has not, and he's been specced into it on the Atlas all league.

I've not had this issue in the brief time I was specced into it, nor at any point before or after.

We also had run several maps (10~) with no issue previous to this.

EDIT: The first crash occurred in Racecourse, and the second most recent set of crashes was in Tower.
