Trade Site Bug/Feedback

Not sure if this is a bug or considered feedback but why does the trade site put a limit on how many times I can try and whisper someone when trying to buy a divine for chaos (or any other item), when the item is no longer available and I'm not actually sending any whispers to people in game (no spam is happening, why does the limit kick in)....?
