So the main attraction from the 2nd build is the 52% armour and the +2 melee weapon range.
Also I have no idea how the added damages are calculated. Some help please? Which build gives more damage?

And, is armour really important?
With no armor nodes I can get 77% phy dmg reduction using my 4 endurance charges, grace and a granite flask. Enough to tank phy dmg reflect packs. Still 7 levels away from inner force. I seldom die and even if I do, I am in scrubcore. Won't hurt much.







EDIT: I've decided to go for this build here. Modified from build 1. Got one armour node for the lols. And also more life %.

Will probably get the remaining life nodes after the 30str node somewhere near iron reflex if I ever go beyond lv85.

I planned to use GS+multistrike
U can easely improve u're build
Here is my current build at lvl 57 skill tree
For the end game, Passive skill 104 pts

For u first build, u use lot of point at the start of the marauder, for dmg. Node with 6 or 8% phys dmg are low. The start of the duelist can give u 30 % phys in 3 nodes.
U take inner force, but u just can run 3 aura on mana, u will see in my build that there is 2 node reduce mana reserved, it's for run 4 aura with reduce mana gem

1. Yes, in your case those are additive
2. Melee Range does not work for ground Slam. Only skill without AoE tag.
3. Why didn't you get Blood Drinker?
4. Divine thoughness is way better than 3x8% life you took by Ranger Starting Point

Thanks for the replies.
I am currently using a carnage heart with 10% leech and I believe that is enough for me. IIRC my gs is doing ~4.5k ish physical damage. Leeches quite a lot of life back.
About the 3x 8% nodes, noted I will respec them to the top 8 8 18 hp nodes.

EDIT: Studied the build and realised you have no iron reflex and unwavering stance.



And tbh I am not a fan of armour so I don't think I will be going for your build which is more armour oriented imo.
I bring granite flasks where ever I go. lol. Can probably reach 80% phy dmg reduction.
With 10% life leech 2% mana leech. I don't need many flasks. So I can bring say 2 granites where ever I go(should be enough). And 1 granite for 50% regen maps, 4 regen flasks.
