FPS drop caused by Temporal Rift particles

I noticed a huge FPS drop when using Temporal Rift that seems to be caused by the particles it leaves behind when moving.
Going from a stable ~110-120fps to a stable ~60fps when the maximum number of particles is loaded (even offscreen).

The skill is not usable for me in this state as it is not currently possible to hide those particles with the "Invisible Buff Effect" MTX.
I tried changing most of the graphics settings without any change in the behavior.
I don't know if the issue was introduced with the new patch or if it was already like that before.

I had the exact same issue on my PC. I wanted to add that swapping the renderer to DirectX12 or Vulkan fixed the problem for me.

My specs:
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600 @ 3.5GHz
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
- 32 GB or RAM

Edit
I just noticed you're using DX12 already, sorry about that. Hopefully it's been fixed for you by now, or perhaps swapping to Vulkan might be worth a shot.
