This guide was written in 3.21.
I cant play much for now... thats why i cant update it to 3.22
Since nothing has changed except that the Crucible mods are gone,
this build works as before
Tattoos and etc should open up new paths!

> DO NOT use as a League Starter (level an Armageddon Ele before, or anything else)
You will need a character with level 90+ anyway to distribute points optimally

> NOT beginner friendly - you need a lot of insight into PoB and a lot of context of skills, circumstances in the game, etc.

> NOT possible to just copy 1:1. Forget about starting these builds from 0.
You need knowledge, experience and patience. You will have to adjust and possibly change many things yourself.

> DO NOT get baited into believing that more projectiles means more DPS, even when PoB scales your damage endlessly! According to all research and testing, 5 projectiles is realistically the maximum for Single Target.
Any more will miss or fly to other enemies.
You can easily double your DPS in PoB with Dying Sun, Awakened GMP, etc. Which in reality brings no DPS gain on single target!

πŸ”β€ŠContent ive done with my current Gear:
> All bosses down + Tried 3 Ubers and beaten 2 of them (Exarch + maven)
(havent tried The Feared, but i think i lack some Damage and Survivability for that)
> Simu 30 without problems and deathless
> 100% deli juiced T16 maps farming is no problem

πŸ’¬β€ŠSmall statement:
Spoiler
I think I'm at a point where I can show my build as well, this one I made myself because i had not enough currency to start off the other variants of Forbidden Rite. Since I didn't have and don't have hundreds of Divines, I tried to solve all kinds of problems you have with Frobidden Rite builds.

It plays pretty well, MS is okay (im zooming around with Lightning Warp), damage is okay, maybe even pretty good..., and it feels incredibly tanky 99% of the time, you hardly have to pay attention to anything except no regen mods and minus chaos mods as they hit my eHP directly.

πŸŽ¬β€Šβ€ŠVIDEOS:

βš—οΈ POBB: > 06.07.2023 Version

βš–οΈ Pro & Cons:
Spoiler
Pros:
🟒 - Very tanky
πŸŸ’β€Š- Gameplay is extremely fun
πŸŸ’β€Š- You can always work on the build
πŸŸ’β€Š- Facatank most content
🟒 - Simu 30 and 100% juiced T16 deli maps possible with some investment
πŸŸ’β€Š- Chill gameplay since you don't have to pay attention to much
πŸŸ’β€Š- About 4k Leech / Life on hit
πŸŸ’β€Š- Cat MTX if you want

Disadvantages:
πŸ”΄β€Š- It can get very very expensive very very quickly
πŸ”΄β€Š- You need to have enough currency on side and if necessary change many things several times
πŸ”΄β€Š- Not easy to copy 1:1, because a lot of things are individual and have to be adapted extremely
πŸ”΄β€Š- That this build feels good it needs some patience and work
πŸ”΄β€Š- Most of the time in the beginning you will spend on PoB if you have bad luck
πŸ”΄β€Š- You are NOT immortal - Depending on content, mods and bad luck with certain effects and curses you will also be oneshotted sometimes
πŸ”΄β€Š- No leech maps are doable but extremely annoying
πŸ”΄β€Š- You might need to buy the Cat MTX

πŸ—οΈ Things to keep in mind:
Spoiler

> Major/Minor God:
DONT take "Soul of the Brine King" - that nullifies your Blootnotch setup

> It is possible to use Righteous Fire, but this gives up a large part of the regeneration - which is why I did not use it.

> I use Anomalous Petrified Blood in this setup.
However, that was only for testing purposes.
You should use the normal version!

> You can of course use "Profane Bloom" instead of "Unholy Authority" for a better mapping experience!
just replace "Discipline and Training" with "Whispering Doom" on your amulet.
This would be the easiest variant to get a second curse

> I use an additional "cast when stunned" setup for Purifying Flame (Divergent is best!) and Forbidden Rite.
With Purifying Flame I have permanent Consecrated Ground for regeneration and more damage to enemies.
In addition, we get more Life on Hit with both spells!
So we can even survive most of the time afk

> You should have at least 500 Life Regen for better gameplay (without Consecrated Ground) - Feels a lot better

> We are weak against Phys Hit.
At least 4k Life is mandatory.
Watch your Phys Max hit on PoB.
You should have at least ~18k... At the very least!

> More than 5 projectiles are unnecessary for single target damage.
PoB values are just a bait. Rather invest something in AOE to reach 10-13
Dont get baited by PoB numbers - More Projectiles dont get you more ingame Single Target damage.
Dying Sun is only necessary if you can't reach 5 projectiles or want more clear - Awakened GMP is also unnecessary, unless you want more clear

> If you want to use Zealotry with Divine Blessing for a huge DPS buff, have at least 700ES (Its not really mandatory, but nice to have for bossing/Simu)

> Jewels should have %Life, possibly Armour, Attributes and as much damage as possible

> You need Divine Flesh from Glorious Vanity with Xibaqua
Here you should find a gem which gives you at least one
(better two or more) Nodes with Wither on hit.

> Bloodnotch setup is not necessary in the beginning

> Get a Watchers Eye with %Phys dmg taken es (any) Ele.
Higher Budget: Look out for #Life on hit while Vitality and stuff like Less Phys damage while Determination, +### Armour while Determination.

> Try to reach at least ~30k Armour with Gear, Jewels, Watchers Eye, Determination and Flasks

More coming soon

βš”οΈ GEAR:
Spoiler

>> Use two Void Batteries - You can also use a Malachais Loop if necessary
>> Here are still weapons with Crucible mods - You should ignore these!

>> +1 Power Charge and Nearby Enemies -Chaos, its worth getting as soon as you find/get a good one

>> When you are on a Budget, thats the best Chest piece imo. Getting into the Rare Route is way too expensive.

>> The best spot for Life, Life regen and all the other stats you need
>> Get % Damage per Frenzy + Chaos damage Leech

>> These boots are the reason, why this build works on a budget.
As you dont move while casting anyways, these are the perfect boots for this job
>> Get Mana Cost Enchant on your Boots

>> Here you should definitely have some kind of phys to Ele conversion.

Additional/optional mods:
- Phys damage reduction
- 20+ Life on Hit (Vitality)
However, you can also take completely different mods if they suit you better.

>> Try to get Flask Charges and life as much as you can while also looking out for all the stats you need

>> This Amulet is a must have

>> The budget version has Life on hit (Spells), some stats, a bit of life and 1 empty Prefix for either Recoup Mana or -7 Mana

>> Get Gain 3 Charges on hit when you have the mod on your Belt for Flask Charges
>> I can only highly recommend to change the flasks as it suits your build best at the moment!
Do not insist on a setup!

If you have any suggestions for improvement, please write me here!

Probably the route with the rares. Another player has a guide to this variant. For me this was way too expensive, since Boots and Chest piece are rare, a lot has to be moved which inspired me to my Ralakesh build.

Here is the player's page!

https://pobb.in/1_-KxVy5YCpU overworked some stuff on your POB!

As mentioned in my post, FR builds are not easy and not beginner friendly at all.
You need a lot of theory and youll try a lot.

> You have only 60% Lightning res? You need more, also the one point on your tree for Lightning Res is a waste
>For now you should try to get over 4k life, yes I know, this stuff can get very expensive quickly and is rare on the market
>Righteous Fire you should drop, I had it in experimentally, you can do it but it consumes a lot of resources that you could rather use differently (I don't have it in my setup anymore).
>Despair, Molten Shell and Asassin's Mark on CWDT setup is missing?
> Try to get Flasks with Gain 3 Charges on hit, makes a lot of difference in monster quantities.
> Try to get a slightly better Glorious Vanity, so you can free up at least one more Skillpoint
> I also optimized the Curse Setup, so you get your 2nd Curse and a useful Annoint
> Get more life nodes on your tree, by changing your setup
> You miss an Abyss Jewel on your Belt?

Thats MY currenty build setup

Do you think the build will still be good once the bloodnotch combo gets obliterated next patch? Are there any alternatives to it that would allow for similar tankyness or at least enough to make the build feel good?

The advantage of Bloodnotch is that you save some important skill points to reach 100% recoup.

I think a different setup without Bloodnotch could achieve similar, if not better gameplay.
You can get recoup via rares, jewels and passives to eventually get to 100%. Leaving out Bloodnotch also allows for a larger Energy Shield pool.

In the end, you would have to simulate all this and / or build and play.

TL:DR: Unfortunately I don't have an ACCURATE answer to this at the moment.

EDIT:

Unfortunately, the bigger "problem" I see is Crucible's "more cast speed" mods on both wands.
That is about +20% MORE CAST SPEED per wand. Means rather that much in the build must be reoriented to achieve high cast speeds (This is very important for this build, also because of the gameplay).

Im thinking about League starting something like that. What do you other guys think about the new devour gem? Im thinking it could make leveling with forbidden rite actually possible.
Hey and thanks for posting! Having fun with this build.

How did you solve the 50% chance to avoid stun while having energy shield? Divine Flesh makes me always have ES and so I loose out on 50% of Bloodnotch or am I missing something?

Okay, I'm a little out of it there...

Could you tell me exactly where "50% stun avoid" is?
If that was supposed to be in the build, I either forgot or never realized it.
