Builds that are surviing the league mechanic?

So far I've invested the most into an ice spear totems build but the totems die fast at crucible and the unique mobs leap to me from off screen for the one-shot tea bag. Is anything actually surviving these things?

Are you fully charging it? Just go halfway or until you feel you can survive the encounter. Fully charging it will spawn super hard mobs.
