i am dying all the time :) some help please
hi,
there are times where i die instantly. i have 4300 live. res cap and 35000 armour. i am starting tier 10 maps. and then suddenly i go from full life to zero instantly. there where enemies with corrupted blood and impale. is that causing this? is there a website explaining the little symbols under the enemy names? what do they mean? this fast dying has always smth to do with the specials the enemy have under their name? or could it be smth else? is there a list of all the mods enemies can have? possible reasons:
shock bleeding you can easely get immunity to these conditions with flasks or another sources of mitigation less likely you die from reflected damage also some mobs in game just have overtuned damage: skeletons with fire balls as example. or rares that cast protoss pylons. the best way to deal with it - destroy them faster then they cast their things spell supression may help too. if you hero can have it - get it! Assuming you watch your map mods for obvious things you cannot handle, you are likely dying to dot damage which bypasses your only defenses (armor and block). In addition, using RF without serious boost to max fire resistance and regen mods on several pieces of gear makes you vulnerable too. Sources of reduced health recovery rate are common and dangerous to you.

Corrupted blood - armour does nothing against phys damage over time (dot). You can gain immunity from passive tree mastery, or implicit on corrupted jewels, or flask. Actually you still need that flask anyway because the same flask is for bleed removal.
Phys damage added as elemental/chaos - common map mod in alched red maps, or exarch/eater altar mods. Molten Shell is too unreliable uptimes. Stack evasion or block on top of your armour to defend against it. Dawnbreaker and Chalice of Horrors do not require your build to invest in any block passives. Great shields if you don't abuse Aegis Aurora / Surrender (+ Glancing Blows). Rare monsters that trigger elemental/chaos spells e.g. solaris-touched, crystal, lightning mirage, molten shell, etc. - learn their mechanics. Spell suppression for ranger, shadow and duelist.
